Cajun Land Liquid Boil 1 Gallon
Our Liquid Boil contains no salt, so you can adjust the salt level to your exact specifications.
This concentrated blend of flavors, made from natural spice extracts, delivers great flavor to seafood, vegetables, or any food that needs an extra “kick”.
In addition, our Liquid Boil contains no salt, so you can adjust the salt level to your exact specifications.
You can also add to our Complete Powdered Boil to add an extra “depth” of flavor to your boil.
Using Cajun Land Liquid Boil
Boil Amounts
128 oz. Liquid Boil: Use 24 gallons of water, 160 oz. salt, and your choice of 192 lbs. crawfish • 192 lbs. shrimp • 192 crabs
4 oz. Liquid Boil: Use ¾ gallon of water, 5 oz. salt, and your choice of 6 lbs. crawfish • 6 lbs. shrimp • 6 crabs
8 oz. Liquid Boil: Use 1½ gallons of water, 10 oz. salt, and your choice of 12 lbs. crawfish • 12 lbs. shrimp • 12 crabs
16 oz. Liquid Boil: Use 3 gallons of water, 20 oz. salt, and your choice of 24 lbs. crawfish • 24 lbs. shrimp • 24 crabs
Bring to a rolling boil, add seafood, Cajun Land® Liquid Crab Boil, and salt. (NOTE: A salt substitute may be used in place of salt)
Gently stir, cover pot, and return to a boil.
Occasionally stir seafood until cooked.
Boiling Times
- Shrimp: 2-5 minutes
- Crawfish: 5-7 minutes
- Crabs: 10-12 minutes
Cut off fire, gently stirring seafood again.
Cover pot and let seafood soak.
While soaking, stir occasionally to release heat so that seafood does not over cook.
Soak Times
- Shrimp: 5-10 minutes
- Crawfish: 15-30 minutes
- Crabs: 15-30 minutes
Boil Crawfish like a local
Add Cajun Land Liquid Boil to taste to our Complete Powdered Boil during soak time for an extra boost of flavor and heat!
